You're interested in a fresh, new look?! ...my name is Mark Weston and my wife Veronika and I are the people behind POP.

I’ve been offering "invisible trims" and "big chops" since 1987, specialising in haircuts and colour. I began my training in Hamburg and have been striving to improve my craft ever since. Veronika is not only my muse, but strongly responsible for the look and feel of the salon. Veronika curated our product ranges like JessiCurl and John Masters Organics and is responsible for making the world famous Mason Pearson hairbrushes available in Prague.

My job is to look after your hair, train the team and ensure an above average overall experience.

Veronika and I wanted to have a hair salon in which we ourselves feel comfortable and enjoy spending time, so we hope you like it, too. We visit other hair salons both in Prague and whilst traveling to maintain an overview of the general hairdressing scene and think most hairdressers could learn a lot, if they would occasionally put themselves in the position of a client. We've tried many of the more well known salons in town for haircuts, but at POP we look mainly to the methods of Vidal Sassoon salons in England and Germany as an influence; training videos, values of shape and balance and also the price structure from student to master stylist origin there.

Taking time for a consultation and a hair service ensure a relaxed atmosphere at POP.

Our reputation for precise english haircutting technique and sophisticated styles attract clients of all backgrounds; students and teachers, actors and opera singers, managers, diplomats and the occasional celebrity all trust us with their hair.

The area around POP is a buzzing neighborhood with cafés and restaurants, theatres and food shopping and our fresh, modern hair salon adds well to the mix.

Veronika already has s strong influence on how the salon looks and works, but she is looking forward to becoming even more involved when our three children are less dependant.

Mark is working full time at POP, coaching the younger stylists and helping them develope their skills.
